2019 Darft Master Plan For Jurong East

The provision of new amenities will enhance further the existing vibrancy in Jurong East and serve the residents better.

Under the Jurong East Master Plan 2019, the Jurong Lake District will continue to take shape.

The Jurong Lake Gardens is conceived as a people’s garden. Space in the garden is landscaped for families and the community in mind. Since completion from 2019, the garden will offer natural and water-themed play areas, exercise facilities and links to park connectors.

More fun and buzz can be expected from the Jurong Gateway Business Improvement District (BID) where JEM, Westgate, IMM, Westgate Tower and JCube combined to push out exciting community activities.

To improve transportation convenience, a vision and plan to facilitate seamless transfers between various public transport nodes will be actualized in the Jurong East integrated transport hub under the new Master Plan.

Under the new Jurong Region Line (JRL), 5 new stations will be introduced to connect residents in the vicinity to the greater West region and rest of the island via transfers. The 5 new stations are Jurong Pier, Pandan Reservoir, Jurong Town Hall, Jurong East Interchange and Toh Guan. Pandan Reservoir MRT will be the nearest station to Whistler Grand when the JRL is ready.

In the realization of the Jurong East 2019 Master Plan, homeowners staying around Jurong East can look forward to more homes, more community facilities, more quality jobs, more homes and lots of recreational space.
